It’s been nearly three months since my last haircut, and I think it’s time to do something about it. The problem now is deciding on a cut.
I’ve had the same hair style for the last five years, so I’m tempted to try something different. But what? One last foray into long styles before my slowly thinning locks force me to accept the realities of aging? A short summer buzz? Something trendy? Something timeless?
I haven’t a clue.

As some of you may have noticed, certain 7-Eleven stores around the US have been rebranded as Kwik-E-Marts in a tie-in to the upcoming Simpsons movie. What’s more, they will be carrying real-life versions of fictional parody items such as Radioactive Man comics and Squishiees. Duff Beer is regrettably absent. I wonder if they switched their hot dogs to tofu dogs — and if anybody noticed.
I’m a big Simpsons fan, so I find this all very amusing. Might somebody who lives in one of the promotion areas be willing to purchase a box of KrustyO’s for me?

College is expensive. What if price was removed from the equation? What if no students, regardless of socioeconomic standing, were required to pay for tuition no matter which schools they chose? How would achievement be affected?

I was at an Apple store this evening and played with the iPhone. Yes, it has a very slick interface, but there are three reasons why I won’t be getting one:
- It’s too expensive
- Its non-WiFi data (EDGE) is too slow
- My Verizon contract is still in force
There were a lot of people at the store looking, but I didn’t see anybody buying.

The snooze button is like candy. You know it’s bad for you, but it’s just so good in the short term.
I’ve found myself hitting the snooze button more and more lately. Nine minutes at a time, I delay the start of my day, and that’s a shame.
For the past few days, I’ve abstained from snooze button use and woken up at my clock’s first buzz. As a result, I’ve been feeling refreshed, productive, and energetic. Look out, world!
